Session 4
As the train slows to a stop at the mountain station, Ember is still sitting, listening in to the two judges’, Lynessa and Arturious, conversation. She hears Arturius curse as he says Vossler is here. Vossler appears to be another judge, male with black hair and blue eyes. Lynessa also says that their low profile hasn’t done much good. They get up and exit right before the train comes to a complete stop. Though, a quick glance and polite nod at Ember from Lynessa, causes Ember to question whether she was spotted.
Ember and Enoki, now discuss their next steps. Since Ember thinks she was spotted, she elects they follow from afar, exiting out of another door further away from the judges. As they do, they see Lynessa and Arturious approach Vossler with body language suggesting disappointment and frustration. Vossler seems to be smug as the conversation isn’t pleasant which ends with Arturious revealing his wings and flying up into the air and away from Vossler, Lynessa following suit, as she floats away. Ember and Enoki see another Judge approaching Vossler, and she looks to be a female human with short brown hair with red and purple highlights.
The two judges have a quick conversation and then head down the main path towards the mountain district which happens to be the direction Enoki and Ember are heading to scout out the spot of the heist. They follow the two judges to a crossroad inside the unwoven mountain. Knowing the unwoven mountain gained its name from being mostly unwoven ground, they make sure to watch the lanterns. Magical lanterns meant they were still within the weave. Being careful as to not get spotted, they see the two judges split up. The enforcer judge goes down the path marked mining operations, the inquisitor judge goes down the path marked auxiliary one.
They wait to see if one of them crosses back toward the other’s direction. After 30 mins, the female inquisitor is seen walking toward mining operations but shoots a glance at Enoki and Ember briefly before disappearing from sight. Feeling the heat, Enoki and Ember decide to head back to the train station to regroup and discuss a plan moving forward.
Meanwhile, Victor stops by The Kissing Hammer Saddler to buy supplies needed for the journey ahead. Srearlyn, the shop keeper, sells victor supplies for his journey. Moments later, Victor heads back to neverspire to meet up with the rest of the gang. Not before helping Lily out with a problem she has been having. Creatures leaving litter in her garden. Victor greets her and befriends Lily on his way to the abandoned sewage pipe that houses Ember and Aydriann. Aydriann is the only one home as Ember and Enoki head back to the mountain train station, miles away.
