Session 51

The night hung heavy over this desolate expanse, a shroud woven from the darkest threads of winter’s embrace. Within this forest of ancient pines, the silence was absolute, as if the very air itself held its breath, unwilling to disturb the tranquility that cloaked the landscape.

The needles of the pines trapped any errant sound, stifling even the whisper of wind as it danced through their branches. Each step through the dry, champagne snow felt precarious, the ground beneath uneven with the potential to swallow one whole.

A chill wind swept through the forest, shaking loose the snow that clung to the branches above, casting a delicate veil over the crimson-stained ground below. It was a futile attempt to hide the brutal truth of what had transpired beneath the moon’s watchful gaze.

Ahead lay no clear path, no guiding light to lead the way through the labyrinth of uncertainty. Only a motley assortment of relics, each bearing its own weight of significance…A wooden trinket from a cold friend, a weathered tome from the dead one, a tattered bag from a curse, a solitary bird from a life cut short, a forsaken pup from a failure, and a pair of foreign limbs from a cursed one.

Zavrun scavenged her arrows from dead howlers while cleaning blood from the heads. Poe had shown up after the fight and converses with Xanthos. The group gathers themselves and plans for what to do next. Ember and Orianna head to talk to Xanthos.

Xanthos tells them that his days are going to end which angers Ember. Ember tells him he has done nothing and said nothing to help. Xanthos begins to explain why he can’t but instead asked if Orianna and Ember wanted to see who the Gods really are. They agree by taking his hands and they both are transported to the spirit realm.

Xanthos looked like Jaz according to the accounts of Aydriann. Xanthos tells Ember and Orianna Jaz has destroyed mortals, such as Thomas Mair, in the past to maintain chaos. Xanthos shows Ember and Orianna the life ribbons and shows them the mortals of Eden section. Very few have cuts due to the immortality. He says that he can’t see the glimmers that are like specs of dust that float beyond the life ending event. He said that Yllena could. Ember discover’s she can as well.

Xanthos tells them that the book, Gray blood and the God Killer is in the Myth Light library

Xanthos warns that they should be wary of Jaz, Jaz will do anything in his power to ensure his chaotic creation staying in tact.

Xanthos tell them he would wipe their memories to keep them safe from Jaz but Ember elects to keep it. Xanthos returns them back to Fornova

Mack has a vision again of a fire raged unabated, its hungry teeth consuming the wooden building from your vision before. Everyone is outside as a large black dire wolf with glowing yellow eyes stands in front of many children with Mack standing next to the wolf. Yunia is the name you remember, the female Eladrin that had been next to Adelaide in the last vision. U remember she can shapeshift into animals. This form was common. U remember chaos and a battle with many golems. The evidence lay in front of you. Many lay dead as they had come to this building for one purpose. To eradicate its occupants. Between the three of you, you didn’t let any of these monsters touch the children. But the third of you is missing from this picture. You search frantically for Adelaide but the vision fades.

A large muscular individual with golden armor and dark skin approaches Peach. He says he is Segunia, a Champion of Lesoleil. He says the weapon will help Peach’s friend. Things might be bad but Segunia said to tell Tavina it will be ok”

The group decides to go towards the shortcut. Thirty minutes Peach hears a low rumble of a large creature near by. The group tries to stealth by but is noticed by another six eyed creature, which attacks them.
