Peach comforts Elira as best he can. Corsten, Aydriann’s new puppy moves around the tiny hut Ember has casted for the night. Corsten seeks the best spot for slumber.
Ember asks Elira some questions as Elira lets everyone know that her being incapable of lying is a lie. Ember finds out that Elira is an outcast from the Faelands and she had fallen in the trap of coming to Targovisyn. She took the fruit because she was curious and was peer pressured into doing it. She says she regrets it. She has found that she has made a mistake and has said that Peach has shown her a better life.
Dax takes first watch and gets a visit from Zavrun, the group’s pathfinder to Targovisyn. Dax hopes to befriend the group but has doubts about some of them. Zarun tries to comfort by saying we try our best, that’s all we can do.
Ember is paid a visit from Xanthos, the God of death, to warn her not to attack Edmeera. It could allow her to kill anyone who does it. Elira’s ailment is from the Syn fruit in that Noite is using it against her. A loophole. Noite has been having a conversation with Elira.
