Session 16
Aydriann has transformed into a slightly different version of himself as Enoki has to hold in a panic attack to the various unknown questions of what the actual fuck. Aydriann gets up and says there is no time and takes off towards Neverspire. Enoki gets his wits about him and follows.
Victor, covered in debris, gathers his strength through a new fiery rage inside of him and pushes all of the debris off of him. He rushes over to Melina who has a broken arm. She fixes it with a spell but notices something about Victor. She uses another spell and figures out that there is a possibility that Victor has some God essence now inside of him. Possible two or more God essence and that one of them might be Noite. She tells Victor that she will have to do some research on this. They also notice their dad, Hawk, is missing.
In Neverspire, Ember asks Venoxyin questions about how she got killed. She tells her two individuals jumped her but she was able to get away. She later ran into another group of six where she was beaten to near death. Able to get away, she crawled back to Neverspire, hoping someone would come. Ember determines Venoxyin is in stable health. They await everyone returning to discuss what happened.
Sometime in the future, Enoki has a dream that turns into a nightmare, relating to past events that wakes him up to find Taevon standing in the corner of his room. Taevon, a male goblin from Enoki’s time in the academy. Enoki thought he was a good creature and gave him support throughout the program but in the end, Taevon didn’t make the cut as he was a weak creature. Taevon presently in Enoki’s room explains he is part of a group called the Reborn Paragons but cuts the conversation short as he notices Enoki’s state of mind as they both decide to continue the conversation over coffee the following morning
The following morning Taevon is seen with a female half elf who is sitting at this round table with him. Taevon says the Reborn Paragons get their powers from a substance called Essence. Enoki asks who is the leader of this group to which Taevon replies, it’s a creature called Balthier. Enoki asks Taevon if Balthier knows about this recruitment. Which he replies sort of and explains that he did bring up his name for candidates but didn’t know when and where Taevon was going to ask Enoki. Enoki tells Taevon that the past needs to stay in the past and gets up and walks away. Taevon, saddened and asks why but doesn’t get an answer.
Also in the future, Ember runs into Rain without their mask. Rain approaches Ember which is unusual and asks Ember if she wants to go on a walk with them. Ember says sure and asks where to. Rain realizes their error and tells Ember that it’s a spirit walk if she wants to go with Rain. Ember says yes and Rain gives her a mask to put on. Before putting on the mask, Ember notices that Rain is not being theirself but sincere. She puts on the mask to see Volaris in a different light. One that has a lot of spirits, including one that is floating right next to her which Rain explains they are to walk with this Spirit to Halonia, a righteous sphere with good creatures go and Rayanna, the Goddess of Justice, resides.
