Session 30
The mouth of the wolf, the eyes of the lamb. The depth of duality we bear witness to. We save the day or become monsters. Neither of them have perfect translations.
Three creatures laid to rest. Two creatures before them. A violent dance between forces that has the gods at attentiveness.
The steps to Kayde 9 living quarters the smell of lilac fills the nostrils. The ceiling hangs low but the tallest of the group is able to walk upright. A wood stove lay dormant in this first room as u fill it. A table for four lay in the center. Two doors to your left and stairs that lead up to the first floor to the right. A bookshelf with a few books and a food store cabinet near the stove.
Kayde-9 tells everyone that they only have 2 hours in their home before people show up that might not be best company
As the group discusses next steps to find shelter and possibly get to Icesyn, Kayde-9 hears the conversation and offers knowledge of a nearby Luxon that is offering an Airship to whoever finds his wife as she has gone missing.
The group checks it out by heading to the bulletin board outside an Inn called the Closed Bird. Alarys reads the poster in regards, stating, Baltir is searching for his wife, Funterra, and there will be a meeting held tomorrow at 10 am at the red keep.
The group heads back to plan their next step which is to rest for the night to head to the read keep tomorrow. Before leaving, the group has a chance to talk to Kayde-9 about their past. Kayde explains they are from Eden but doesn’t remember a thing about being in Eden, only knows they showed up in Mamoon and gathered that the origin for all Golems is Eden. Says their kind isn’t liked in many parts of the world. Peach gives Kayde a wooden trinket and Kayde puts it by an interesting Lilac Flower that doesn’t wither. Kayde explains they found it in Mamoon which is unwoven ground.
The group heads to the Closed Bird Inn to get rooms for the night. Alary is able to persuade the Innkeeper to rent out a house for 25gp. Before heading there, Ember walks over to two creatures singing in the tavern section of the Inn. A female blue elf and a white human at a piano singing a song:
O sing a song of Elturel
Of water, woods, and hill
The sun dawns on her ruddy cliffs

Home of the strong and brave
Renowned by all, across the realms

Ember asks about the song and the Blue elf, Chlo says that her mother used to sing it to her when she was young. The white female human goes by the name Cat. They say they have to go and tell Ember that they’ll be at Valkyrie Park tomorrow.
The group rests for the night and the following morning, Ember is greeted by Poe who tells her that Poe is going to be her Guardian. Poe also tells Ember that Kai is a young spirit and that both Poe and Kai are dead. Poe hopes to be redeemed but doesn’t know what he’s done wrong.
The group heads over to the red keep at the correct time of the meeting to see that lots of other creatures have also shown up for their chance at the Airship. Majority of the creatures seem to be roughens. Alary spreads a rumor that the airship isn’t real and about 1/3 of the creatures leave. Aydriann also tries to spread lies by yelling the airship is a lie but this unfortunately gained the attention of a rude Tabaxi (Chains) who told Aydriann to be quiet and made threats. The Red King tells everyone that his wife is missing along with his daughter and if found, he will gladly gift his airship. He brings everyone into the dinning area for food and drink to discuss information.
