Orianna sees Lalune in her vision, but Lalune is clearly unhappy.
Lalune tells Orianna that Seryna is using her as a way out of an old deal made with Lalune.
Orianna refuses to believe this…insisting she and Seryna will face whatever comes, together.
Aydriann takes the memory stone to Ember; together, they witness Venoxyin’s death. Since the memory stone can’t lie, it exposes a falsehood about what really happened.
Aydriann and Ember realize that Aydriann’s power…and his degeneration…are tied to Ember.
Muvara appears before the group, wrapped in bandages like Xanthos once was.
Muvara confirms their gift is Veiling…and reveals they have been hiding New Moonshire from Edmeera, who has been unable to find it.
Muvara mentions Lesoleil wants to meet Peach and that there’s much that remains unexplained…particularly regarding Eden’s Seal and Venoxyin’s mysterious entrance.
Muvara had previously approached Charlotte, entrusting her with a note for Middle Ground…instructing her not to give it to anyone else.
Muvara continues to follow the group…keeping them Veiled.
Seryna seems unharmed, but Orianna leaves before Seryna can speak.
Seryna catches up and shares her past: she once bargained with Lelune to gain power over her curse and access to forbidden knowledge called No Magikae…technology that mimics magic but isn’t magical. Her goal was to discover if there’s a way to bring people back from the dead without magic.
Seryna fears she can’t leave the Dark World with Orianna…but Orianna insists they will face whatever comes together.
